Ten Viral Marketing Tips - Part#1

Just what is viral marketing? Simply put, it's a way to get
your advertising message passed on from person to person
without any additional effort or expense on your part.

Once you 'Unleash the Virus', it starts to take on a life of
its own and it continues to spread (hopefully) without any
effort on your part.

So, how do you convince your customers to pass on ads for
you? Most would never consider the idea. Your first goal is
to make whatever your want passed around NOT to look like
plain old advertising.

You've got to create something that has VALUE to the customer
and in turn, TELL them that they can pass it on to their
friends as much as they want.

Here are some things you can turn into Marketing Viruses:

1. Give Away Free Software - The trick here is to gently
place links & banners for your other products inside.

2. Give Away Free eBooks - Same principle as above. Post
links & banners inside. Link back to your website.

3. Write Articles - Give these away for others to use in
their newsletters and websites. Usually, you can only
put a resource box back to your main site in the article.
It really has to be useful, not just a big over-blown ad.

4. Create Free Screensavers and give them away with a link
back to your site listed on each screen.

5. Give away Free Autoresponders - Every single message
that goes out can have your little ad on the bottom or top
along with a link to get others to use your autorepsonder
service.
