HOW IS YOUR MARKETING CREDIBILITY?
HOW IS YOUR MARKETING CREDIBILITY? By Jullieanne Whitney
You have tried and tried again but still you can't figure out why your business is not taking off like you had hoped.
Although you may become frustrated and angered by the fact that everyone else seems to be making good coin on the Internet, you need to take a break and analyze WHY this is.
Let's look at some suggestions which can help you in determining what you can do to help you in your marketing endeavours.
1) Do you have the resources to back the product or service you are marketing? Many people may contact you and ask questions in which you may or may not have the answers to. If you have not already done so, make sure you have done your research to check the credibility of the product or service you are marketing. I suggest visiting The Better Business Bureau at http://www.betterbusinessbureau.com as well as The Federal Trade Commission at http://www.ftc.gov/ .
2) Advertising your product or service can be tricky and often difficult. Make sure you are reaching your target audience! Select Newsletters and Ezines that publish to a certain group of subscribers. Ezine advertising is very effective if you have selected the right one to advertise in! The people who will be reading your advertisements are more inclined to read your Ad because they have opted to and are expecting to see your Ad!
Here are some great cost-effective resources to submit your Ad to multiple Ezines and Newsletters: "2Bucks" an Ad
10 Dollars 20 Ads
Ads4Subs - Referral = Netprenews
3) Link Trading is more valuable than you think! Why? Because not only are you going to give added exposure to your Website by trading links with certain sites, but having your link on multiple sites can increase your search engine ranking! Remember it's not going to happen overnight but if you can find one or two sites per day to trade links with, you will see an increase in website hits within a very short time. The same rule applies to posting on FFA Sites as well!
If you have your own Website, be sure to have a links or resource page. Keep this page updated, add resources that are sure to attract people and keep them coming back!
Safelists can be good too. Be careful how much you advertise in each one, if you advertise frequently, be sure to change the title of your Ad often. Be sure to offer something for free whenever, or if you can. Give them a reason to click on your Ad. Don't and I repeat, don't over exaggerate anything at any time during your promotion. Honesty is best no matter what! If you are able to, include your testimony whenever you can.
There are literally thousands of safelists out there. I would like to share one with you which I have had great success with and people join this list at rate of approximatly 100 per day!
Business World List
Business World List is an amazing professional safelist with many added features such as ad tracking and real time stats. If you are not a member already, I suggest checking it out! It is free to join and you can upgrade to Pro at any time. The list size is in the thousands.
4) Include your signature at the bottom of every email This gives you the opportunity to advertise your product or service. Make sure you respond personally as much as possible to every inquiry you receive. After all, these potential customers/affiliates don't know or trust you - yet! Be professional. When someone responds to your offer with an offer of thier own, acknowledge that you received thier offer and give a reason as to why you may or may not be interested in thier offer. If someone has a question but you do not have the answer, try to find the answer or include a resource as to where he/she may find the answer. You may probably be thinking "why would I want to waste my time doing that?" Because you want to maintain your image as a trust-worthy person and your professionalism. You do want to add credibility to your name don't you?
5) Drive traffic to your site by joining a variety of traffic- generating programs. I don't mean joining tons and tons of them that require mass promotion, just a select few that you can still promote without looking like an advertising machine! One of my personal favorites is Click Silo . Click Silo has a program in which you set your start page and veiw other member's sites with a 2:1 ratio. Your site is guaranteed to be viewed depending on the credits you accumulate.
Try Ad Replicators. These are places in which you can place your Ad, and your Ad will keep running as others join the same program. A very easy system. Again, here are a few of those types of programs:
Traffic Multiplier Traffic Explosion
Persistance is important. Finding that perfect business to promote is hard enough but staying focused can be even more difficult. If you strongly believe in your business, continue to promote it daily. You may have some weeks that
are frustrating and the responses just are not coming in like you expected. Don't let that discourage you, instead, change your Ad a little and try again.
Remember there are thousands of new people logging on to the Internet each day looking for ways to earn money just as you once were. The key to finding that successful business relies on facts, support, and reliability. Keep in mind that if an offer sounds too good to be true...it probably is!
